CDEI is again offering the Advanced Level Interdisciplinary Team Train the Trainer four and a half day program coinciding with this three-day basic/intermediate Collaborative Practice Interdisciplinary Team Training. The Train the Trainer program meets the IACP Training Standards and is an advanced level program for experienced Collaborative Practitioners. CDEI is accepting applications for professionals from each of the professional disciplines (law, mental health, financial) interested in this training.

CDEI is pleased to be part of the state-wide community service program sponsered by CP-CAL, Divorce Options™ Workshops.

The workshop provides an invaluable service for every person facing the complexities of divorce. Many individuals contemplating divorce are not aware that they have several options available with significantly different costs -- both hard dollar cost and emotional cost. Participants learn which divorce processes are more supportive of the family and the children.

Divorce Options explains the legal, financial, family and personal issues of divorce in a logical, yet compassionate way. With the guidance of a team of legal, financial and mental health professionals, workshop participants gain a greater understanding of the confusing and overwhelming divorce process options. Divorce Options provides explanations of the differences between self representation, mediation, collaborative divorce and litigated divorce.

After attending the Divorce Options Workshops, participants have commented that they feel empowered to make a more informed decision regarding their divorce process choice.
